CARROT

Carrots (scient. Daucus carota subsp. Sativus) is a type of vegetable plant of the genus Carrot (Daucus), hosted a subspecies of the wild carrot (Daucus carota). It contains many useful and healing ingredients. As food is used worldwide. The carrot has declared antibiotic action. The carrot is a bi-annual herb and for feeding is used its root. Carrots originated in Afghanistan and throughout history is taken in all countries. It is used for food throughout the year.

It is interesting that today there is a carrot with different colors: orange, white, yellow, red, purple, etc.. The different colors of carrots contain various antioxidants, ingredients that fight against the harmful effects of free radicals. Most commonly is used the root, but also can be used carrot leaves, but previously boiled.
